Adam Rowley - Chef & Owner

What better place to discover your life’s passion than in your best friend’s kitchen cooking elaborate meals just for fun? By the age of 28, Adam decided to leave his seven year career construction to attend culinary school. He landed his first job at an upscale steakhouse in Folsom before finding his way to Chiarello’s famous Bottega Restaurant in Yountville, where he’s been cooking delicious fare for the past four years.
 
“I love making guests smile by creating new memories that will last them a lifetime. I love expanding people’s idea of what food can be, and pushing boundaries and creating something new.” Whether it’s a color palate for a new dish or a scent he comes across on a walk, Adam pulls inspiration from the things that inspire him day to day. While he works in an Italian restaurant and has developed his own French-inspired culinary business, neither defines his overall style. “At the end of the day I just love cooking good food. Waking up to my son each morning keeps me pushing for bigger and better things for the two of us.”
